Introduction to Archery

This immersive, introductory workshop will introduce you to the diverse world of Archery. Over the course of two hours, you will learn about the ‘Four Disciplines’ and the history of Archery through an interactive presentation. For the second half of this lesson, our experienced Instructor will teach you the Lykopis method using a modern recurve bow.

Participants will have an opportunity to shoot the various bows and arrows from the ‘Four Disciplines’ showcased during the opening presentation.

The Intro to Archery workshop is perfect for both experienced archers or those who have had little to no experience in archery and wish to learn a more diverse and in-depth path.

The Intro to Archery workshop is a prerequisite for Ongoing Classes. At the end of the Introduction to Archery, attendees will have the opportunity to apply a discount to 12 weeks of classes.

These are one-time workshops that occur once a month on Saturdays from 10am to noon.

Note: Participants must be 16+. The Introduction to Archery workshop is not mandatory for youth interested in joining ongoing classes.

Cancellation Policy

  • Client Cancellation must be received by email lykopisinfo@gmail.com during business hours. Phone cancellations will not be accepted.

  • Client/Student missed classes will NOT BE REFUNDED or REBOOKED.

  • Lykopis cancelled classes/workshops – in case of circumstances such as but not limited to weather/sickness Lykopis will offer to make 2 options for make-up classes. If the student/client is unable to attend the available make-up class/workshop, no refund/credit will be given. If Lykopis is unable to reschedule a class/workshop, a 40% credit will be given.

  • Client cancelled events – in case of circumstances such as but not limited to weather/sickness Lykopis will endeavor to make 2 attempts to reschedule the event. If we are unable to reschedule the event, and the client cancels, a refund of 60% will be given.
