Ongoing Classes - Youth

These are names that many adults may be unfamiliar with, but to our kids, they are the modern-day Robin Hoods. Thanks to these heroes, kids, and teens are increasingly gaining interest in the noble Art of Archery along with the range of life skills that follow.

Lykopis offers an in depth look into Archery for our youth program, designed to introduce young archers to the many bows and styles of shooting that the Art of Archery offers.

Our young archers learn to shoot instinctively with Lykopis’ unique F.L.D. method, designed to provide the foundation for all disciplines of Historical and Traditional archery. Beginning with the Modern Recurve bow, they each learn the importance of proper stance, focus, and implementation of the F.L.D.

Students will practice and learn with a variety of bow types, giving them a chance to explore archery in its many cultural and historic forms.

Part of their weekly classes includes strength-building exercises and warm-ups, group meditation, and discussions based on the history, theory, and practice of archery. It’s a blast!

Please note that unlike with Adults, no Introduction to Archery Workshop is required before taking the youth ongoing classes. 

Pricing: $235.20 including tax (per month for 4x 2-hour lessons)

Cancellation Policy

  • Client Cancellation must be received by email lykopisinfo@gmail.com during business hours. Phone cancellations will not be accepted.

  • Client/Student missed classes will NOT BE REFUNDED or REBOOKED.

  • Lykopis cancelled classes/workshops – in case of circumstances such as but not limited to weather/sickness Lykopis will offer to make 2 options for make-up classes. If the student/client is unable to attend the available make-up class/workshop, no refund/credit will be given. If Lykopis is unable to reschedule a class/workshop, a 40% credit will be given.

  • Client cancelled events – in case of circumstances such as but not limited to weather/sickness Lykopis will endeavor to make 2 attempts to reschedule the event. If we are unable to reschedule the event, and the client cancels, a refund of 60% will be given.
